The arms are Argent an upright sword flamant Gules superimposed at the top by scales Gules, in dexter chief a Christ Knights' Cross, in sinister chief a crescent Gules pointing upwards, in base two bars wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll in black upper case letters reading "S. MIGUEL DE ACHA"
Sword and scales are a representation of patron saint Michael, the archangel. The crescent is alluding to the Moorish heritage, the cross to the Christ Knights' Order.
