Surberg Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a lion issuant Gules, base Gules parted by three barrulets wavy Argent.
The red lion is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Surberg, who had been important commissionaires of the Archbishopric of Salzburg. The barrulets are taken from the arms of the Lords of Hallabruck, commissionaires of the Counts of Kraiburg-Ortenburg. Hallabruck had been an important customs office of the counts.
