Weilbach Coat of Arms

Shield Argent chapé embowed Gules, on base a tube well Azure, on dexter chief a 6-spokes wheel Argent, on sinister chief a cogwheel Argent.
The tube well is a local landmark. It was first mentioned in 1611. The tinctures red and silver and the wheel are alluding to the Archbishopric of Mainz, which ruled the village between 1272 and 1803. The cogwheel is symbolising the local metal processing.
