Chamerau Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a demi-boar Gules armed Or, in chief a sword Azure in fess.
The boar is the heraldic animal of the Chamerauer family, whose ancestral seat had been in the village. The sword is an attribute of St. Paul, one of the two patron saints of the local church.
