Ratshausen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a trowel Argent.
Municipal seals from the 19th century displayed the trovel in an oval shield until 1930. The trowel reminds on the fact that many inhabitants had to earn their living in the past by working as bricklayers out of area. The colours are those of the Counts of Hohenberg.
