Split from white with black grate and from black with yellow cluster with white stem and two white
leaves.
The grate is the symbol of Saint Laurentius, the church patron of the Ittingen Charterhouse
(which is in the municipality and whose emblem was adopted). The grape stands canting for Weiningen. The colours black and white refer
to the affiliation to the former jurisdiction of the Ittingen Charterhouse.
