On red a white wavy beam, accompanied by a three-towered white castle with a battlemented main roof, an open gate and yellow roofs on the side towers. Under the bar a white shell.
The emblem dates back to 1883 and was designed by Stanser heraldist Adalbert Vokinger. The silver castle commemorates the two castle sites of Isenringen and Retschrieden in Beckenried. The shell is taken from the family crest of the old Amstad family.
