Description of the Flag

A horizontal bicolour, white over blue, with the municipal shield in the upper hoist.

The flag and arms of Urussanga are prescribed by Municipal Law No. 191 promulgated on 16 December 1992.

Article 1.
The flag of the municipality of Urussanga is composed of two adjacent horizontal panels, the lower vert and the upper white, the later cantoned left with the municipal coat of arms.

Article 2.
The coat of arms of the municipality of Urussanga is composed of a tierced Samnite classic Portuguese shield surmounted by a mural crown with eight towers argent. In the shield's base, a stripe of coal sable in the center, a collateral fess vert divided by a river azure cantoned in the right angle by a half cogwheel and in the chief's left angles by three wine drops purpure.
Beneath the shield a scroll gules inscribed in letters argent the toponym "Urussanga" surrounded by the motto "Omnia Labor".
