Description of the flag

The town of Glasgow has informed me it has no flag.
Valentin Poposki, 2 June 2010

The flag is an off-white field with an emblem like symbol in the center. It is a dark green ring with a white disc Inside the ring is two versions of the town name: "Town of Glasgow" and "Glasgow, Virginia". Under the first name is the chartered date, which was 1892. In the center is an illustration of a Red cardinal perched on a tree branch. The cardinal is a very common bird in the area, as well as being the state bird of Virginia.
