Spring Hill is a city in Tennessee, United States, located approximately thirty miles south of Nashville. The population was 7,715 at the 2000 census. The 2005 U.S. Census Bureau estimates the population is 17,148, making Spring Hill one of Tennessee's fastest-growing communities, and the 16th fastest growing in the United States. Spring Hill estimates its population as of December 2006 to be 25,575. Spring Hill's municipal government has implemented the "Taxpayer Bill of Rights", meaning that no municipal tax increase can be implemented without a public referendum. Spring Hill is divided between Maury County, Tennessee and Williamson County, Tennessee. The flag is diagonally divided dark blue over dark green by a broad downwards swooping and narrowing stripe.  In the upper hoist, at the top of the white stripe is a dark blue star.
