The Lord's Resistance Army (sometimes also called the Lord's Resistance Movement) is led by Joseph Kony, who proclaims himself the spokesperson of God and the Holy Spirit, is a quasi-religious militia terrorist group which was started in 1987 in the Acholi region of northern Uganda.  The LRA has operated in northern Uganda, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Central African Republic.  The LRA is responsible for widespread human rights violations, including reported murder, abduction, mutilation, cannibalism, sexual enslavement of women and children and forcing children to participate in hostilities as conscripts of the LRA.  The LRA forces have shrunk and appear on the defensive, with Ugandan Defence Forces, aided by U.S. Special Forces trainers, determined to put an end to their terrorist activities.  They appear to be now mostly active in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Orientale province where the DRC refuses to allow Ugandan troops to enter in pursuit.

The LRA's flag is a simple horizontal tricolor of equal red-black-blue stripes.

The Lord's Resistance Army does not use the flag shown above.  This information was taken from a photo of some guerrilla men in northern Uganda, but was later discovered to belong to a South Sudanese liberation movement.   The flag of the LRA is probably bicolor horizontal red over yellow or yellow over red.  The LRA emblem and flag is published Issue 64 of the Flag Report .  Being a Christian fundamentalist movement, the emblem comprises a half moon and star, and furthermore Law Tables and a heart.

The Uganda Peoples Congress has a flag of black, red and blue (similar to the one posted) but this party has no relation with the LRA or with movements in South Sudan.  The colours of  red, black and green was the flag of the State of Nile as shown on Wikipedia.    Black, red and green are also widely used in South Sudan, being found in the national flag, the flag of the Sudan Peoples Liberation Army, the Nubians and in the armed movement in  Kordofan in South Sudan.

I'm inclined to support Jaume Ollé's hypothesis that the LRA's flag is red/yellow or vice versa judging from the uniform of its top leader, Joseph Kony (and also if one takes a look at the flag of Uganda, it has the above mentioned colors, so I guess that is no coincidence, but rather a historical reference). Maybe if someone can explain the origin of the colors red and yellow on the Ugandan flag could correlate that to this armed movement's flag.
