The municipality of Jezersko (635 inhabitants in 2012; 6,880 ha) is located high in the Kamnik Alps on the source of river Kokra, which flows into the Sava in Kranj. The place is named for a former lake, in Slovene, jezer

Flag of Jezersko

the flag and arms of Jezersko (municipal website) are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi občine Jezersko (text), adopted on 4 November 1999 and published in 12 November 1999 in the local official gazette Uradni vestnik Gorenjske, No. 43 (text).
The symbols are described in Article 5 of the municipal Statutes Statut občine Jezersko, adopted on 19 June 2001 and published on 3 July 2001 in Uradni vestnik Gorenjske, No. 20, pp. 1-9 (text). The description was dropped from the present-day's Statutes Statut občine Jezersko (text), adopted on 20 December 2011 and published on 21 December 20111 in Uradni vestnik Gorenjske, Supplement No. 1.

The flag is in proportions 10:23, horizontally divided blue-white-green with the municipal coat of arms in the centre, in height half the flag's width.
It is specified that the coat of arms should not be printed on the flag, but applied (sewn) onto it separately.
The colour specifications are:
- Blue: Pantone 2935c
- Green: Pantone 347c.

The sheep represents the particular stock of Jezersko and Solčava, the peaks represent mounts Kočno and Grintavec as seen from Jezersko, and the waterfall represents the Čadca fall, the highest in Slovenia.
