Municipal flag of Horjul

The flag and arms of Horjul are prescribed by Decision Odlok o istovestnostih simbolih Občine Horjul, adopted on 10 February 2000, and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 36/2000.

The symbols were designed by Valt Jurečič of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is rectangular, in proportions 2:5, horizontally diveded in three blue-white-blue stripes, with a square white field in the middle of the flag containing the church from the coat of arms.

Stanič & Jakopič [j2s05] give the colour specifications, which are not part of the Decision, as:
- Golden yellow: Pantone 1225
- Green: Pantone 355
- Blue: Pantone 300
- Red: Pantone 185
- Black: Pantone Black
