The aforementioned Decision describes the emblem as Y-shaped, symbolizing the confluence of the rivers Sava and Sora, made of two shades of blue. The coat of arms is the same emblem set on a white shield.
The coat of arms was designed by Metka Znoj, a visual communication designer from Ljubljana.
