History and description of the flag

At this proposals’ website there are photos that shows some “visibility”.
António Martins, 28 Jul 2004

The One World Flag is an internationally recognized symbol of diversity, self-esteem, and cooperation which has been endorsed by a growing number of individuals, groups, educational, spiritual and diplomatic leaders for its mission statement, purpose, and wide-sweeping inspirational effect.

The flag honors the artistic and spiritual paths of each individual (the micro), and, at the same time, inspires us to "Think Bigger!" (the macro). It is supportive of those who pursue whole systems living, betterment, empowerment, growth, tolerance, potential, expression and creativity, spirit, etc., and consciously aims to side-step the fear-based aspects of political, religious, or other limiting beliefs / dogma / agenda.

Already, many like-minded individuals and groups are “flying the flag” on their sites; a scrapbook of letters of support is being compiled; awards are validating its resonance; and donations have already begun to flow to worthwhile projects, out of a portion of proceeds from the sale of flags, hats, shirts, etc.

The One World Flag has been compared to the Peace Sign, the Banner of Peace, Earth Flag, and other symbols / icons / mandalas aimed at supporting increased consciousness, awareness, tolerance, and peace.
