Located in Takamatsu City Kagawa Prefecture and established in 2004. The embroidered ceremonial flag has green background with a gold emblem and gold fringe. The university flag has white background with a green and yellowish green emblem in the center. (Source) The yellow-green semicircle at the top of the emblem represents the young fruit of the olive, the prefectural flower and tree, and symbolizes the enrichment of human love, professional knowledge, and skills through study. The central line of three leaves represents the image of young leaves growing up, and also expresses the three basic principles of love for humanity, exploration, and contribution. The V shape at the bottom represents a hand that gently embraces all, representing a hand that protects precious life in the field of medicine. The green and yellowish green colors symbolize the brightness of life and fresh hope.
