Located in Nonoichi City Ishikawa Prefecture and established in 1965. The embroidered ceremonial flag has purplish blue background with a gold emblem and vertically written in gold kanji institute name in gold fringe. The institute flag has blue background with a white emblem in the center. The institute emblem represents the three founding principles of the institute: "High Human Development," "Profound Technological Innovation," and "Magnificent University-Industry Cooperation," as well as a guideline for the three members of the institute community: students, directors, faculty and staff, and those who study science and technology. The three "T's" are "Truth," "Theory," and "Technology which are designed to resemble the wings of the Golden Eagle, the symbol of the institute. The Golden Eagle, a natural treasure that lives in the Hakusan Mountains, is said to be the bravest of all birds in high flight, with its head characterized by a golden glow as it moves toward the light. In its powerful image, the Golden Eagle symbolizes courage and faith.
