The municipality of Vallehermoso's flag, ratio 2:3, is divided per bend into green and red with the coat of arms in its centre. The flag was adopted by Canarian Government on 3 october 1995, which had been published in BOC of 19 April 1996. I spotted this flag in front of a visitor’s centre in Garajonay National Park on 11 February 2010.

The coat of arms's shield has a red bordure with eleven golden bowls, called “gánigos,” around a blue field charged with a silvery rock above green hills. The shield is topped by a royal crown. The bowls represent respect for pre-Hispanic traditions. The rock is an image of Roque Cano, which stands in the Garajonay National Park.
