The ensign (see left image above) was a black-white-red horizontal tricolour like the German merchant ensign until 1918. The burgee (see right image above) was red parted by a white saltire, charged in its centre by a black disc. The club has nothing to do with Hamburger Yacht-Club, which was established much later in 1961.

Hamburger Yachthafen-Gemeinschaft e.V.

According to §3 of its statutes the community has exclusively non-profit purposes, especially the promotion of sailing and motor yachting. Furthermore it is maintaining and supplying a harbour as mooring place for the vessels of all its members (yacht clubs). Gains are exclusively used for the above mentioned non-profit purposes and the members get neither shares nor benefits
The community has a rectangular pennant. Its pattern is the same as that one of the historical pennant (Flüüger) model 1500.

It is a white pennant with a black cotized scandinavian cross. At the intersection-point of crossbars is a red roundel with a white "Hamburg-gate".

"Long" pennant

The problem is, that there exist different versions of that flag. On the car-sticker version the black roundel is just touching the black lines of cross-fimbriation. On the wall of clubs boathouse is an image, in which the roundel exceeds the crossbars. This one is the version of the flag, hoisted upon the boat house at the banks of Alster lake.

Hamburger Yacht Club was established in 1961 as Hamburger Yacht- und Motorboot Club and renamed in 1974 to Hamburger Yacht Club. The first pennant was white, parted by a red saltire, on its centre a red disc fimbriated blue and charged with a Hamburg castle, blue inscription "HYMC" in top, hoist, bottom and fly quarter. The club was established in 1961 and was located in Hamburg-Tatenberg.

The club was established in 1912 and based in Bremen. The pennant was white charged with a Hanseatic Cross, i.e. a red cross patty, shifted to hoist. Red and white are the colours of the Hanseatic League and of Bremen as well.

The club was established in 1992 as Hanseatischer Yachtclub zu Rostock e. V. (HYzR). There didn't happen much until 2011, when a few enthusiasts revived the club. Due to a change of its base the club was renamed in 2012 to Hanseatischer Yachtclub zu Hohe Düne e. V., Hohe Düne is a peninsula east of Rostock-Warnemünde and parted from Warnemünde by Breitling (broad water), the mouth of the Warnow River, from Warnemünde only approachable by ferry or boat.
The pennant is white with a blue bordure and parted by a blue-white-red horizontal triband, the colours of the former naval ensign of Mecklenburg (-Schwerin). In its centre it is superimposed by a black seal's head caboshed. On the white stripe is a black inscription "HY" (hoist) and "zHD" (fly).

The club was established in 1972. Ensign (see left image above) and pennant (see right image above) are horizontally parted of yellow and red with a blue bordure and a blue horizontal central stripe. In the centre is the club's coat of arms, based on that one of Haseldorf municipality (a no flag entity). The shield of the club is blue parted by three white chevrons, charged with 11 red morions. In the blue parts are yellow inscriptions "1972" (chief), "WSC" (centre) and "HASELDORF" (base). The municipal arms are red with blue morions.

Heiligenhafener Yacht-Club

It is a light blue (FIAV-code B-) pennant, divided in the middle by a narrow horizontal white line. Upon the line shifted to the fly is a white parabolic arc, symbolising the bridge crossing Fehmarnsund. Shifted to the hoist are two white sails.
Heiligenhafen is part of Ostholstein county / Schleswig-Holstein and is located just opposite to the isle of Fehmarn.

The pennant is blue parted by three yellow lines pointing to thr three corners oft he pennant, on the intersection point blue with a yellow inscription "SVH", surrounded by a yellow annulet. The "V" has double size. The seat of the club meanwhile has moved from Lübeck-Heerenwyk downstream to Lübeck-Travemünde.

Over the arms of the "cross", letter H in black in a white disc. All elements of the burgee are fimbriated in black. The yacht club is located on or near the Dümmer Lake.
