Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a white flag with a green stripe upon the upper and lower edge. The coat of arms is completely within the white stripe shifted to the hoist. The ratio between the stripes is 1:2:1.

Description of banner:
It is a white banner with a green stripe upon left and right edge. The coat of arms is completely within the white stripe shifted to the top. The ratio between the stripes is 1:2:1.

Description of coat of arms:
In a red shield upon a green hill are two warriors in silver (=white) armour shaking hands. (I chose the tinctures of Stadler 1972, p.106 displaying one black bearded warrior and one blonde one)
Meaning:
According to source the image is symbolizing the cities name. Shaking hands means sealing an alliance (German: Bund).
