Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The silver (=white) shield is divided by three blue barrulets. Above are three bearded heads having blonde hair. The heads are ordered horizontally.
Meaning:
According to source the heads are symbolizing St.Paul, the patron saint of the archbishopric of Münster. The legend said, that his head had been multiplied thrice, after the saint had been beheaded. The barrulets are symbolizing the barons of Lon. The ensemble already can be found on seals from the 14th century.
