The coat of arms of Ravno is in a semi-circular shield, outlined with red, in white two red squares in each corner and a blue base. In the centre of the white field a yellow floral-faunal ornament, and in the blue field a white proteus (olm, Proteus anguinus) and a white line indicating a cave or a mountain range. The shield is topped with a red ooutlined white panel/chief with a golden triple-wattle ornament.

The red and white squares and the red-white-blue scheme is, undoubtedly, a reference to the Craot majority in the municipality. So is the wattle ornament in the chief, of almost the same shape as in the coat of arms of the short-lived, self-proclaimed Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia. The floral-faunal ornament must be taken from medieval stone monuments (stečak). The proteus and the cave refers to the Vjeternica cave, the largest and best researched cave in Bosnia and Herzegovina, mentioned already by Pliny the Elder.

The Populari database shows a slightly different design, claimed to have been adopted in 1997. However, an other design, obviously inspired by the same basic ideas, but still different, is shown on some websites (example), apparently claimed to be the coat of arms of Ravno.
